Hosted by the Fayre Share Foundation and Faiths Forum for London, this event will look back to last summer's riots and consider prospects for London's young people. Participants include the Mayor of London, the Bishop of Southwark, and Kids Company founder, Camila Batmanghelidjh.
This free event is orgamised jointly by JUST West Yorkshire, Runnymede Trust, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust. It will critique the Big Society and attempt to suggest solutions in the context of the challenges currently facing British society. It will also launch 'The BIg Society: the Big Divide' .
Marking the 30th anniversary of Christian Ecology Link (CEL), the keynote speakers are Jonathon Porritt, Founder of Forum for the Future and Tim Gorringe, Professor of Theology at Exeter University.
